"I am thoroughly enjoying working for a faith based investment organisation and happy to be associated with beneficial social and environmental issues. I am interested in the comparisons of how the various traditionsshare their learning experiences and challenges”.– Danielle

I hope that 3iG is able to shed a faithful light on all aspects of investing; from involvement in high social impact projects to corporate screening. I am committed to helping 3iG accomplish this difficult feat”. – Kristyn

“3iG for me has been an enlightening experience particularly in two areas – faith’s approach towards business matters and responsible investing. It has been a great boast to produce reports parallel to the theories we study at school”. – Nidhi

Christophe BochatayChristophe Bochatay - Impact Investments, Barcelona, Spain

Of Swiss and French nationality, Christophe worked for 5 years in research and product development for the mutual fund arm of a Geneva based private bank. Committed to International Development, he then spent one year in Macedonia working in capacity building for NGOs and one year in Kosovo as a Transitional Development Consultant for a microfinance institution.

Aside from pursuing his MBA at ESADE, he works with Erin on researching and promoting impact investments. “Financial investments not only involve responsibility but are also a very effective but underused vehicle to generate social and environmental value. If this is recognized by only a small share of the investment community, it has the potential to address global challenges on a larger scale than pure philanthropy. It is therefore a pleasure for me to contribute to 3iG’s efforts in that direction.”

Erin PrelypchanErin Prelypchan – Project Co-manager, Impact Investments, Barcelona, Spain

Erin, a Canadian national, is a specialist in corporate-community relations and stakeholder engagement strategies. As someone who worked for 10 years in Asia as a journalist and political risk analyst, she has seen that creative nonprofit-for profit relationships can not only prevent conflict but unlock incredible economic and social value in some of the planet's most troubled locations. After her MBA at ESADE in Barcelona, she hopes to use her newly developed business skills to create more opportunities for businesses, communities, and nonprofit organizations to work together.

She began investigating impact investing while working on a project in socially responsible investment for a listed Spanish company: "Accessible financing is key to the kinds of projects that generate real change on a local level. I look forward to better understanding the way impact investors think and act, and where better to start than with faith-based investors?"
