Organizations
3iG is
a non-profit, multi-faith philanthropic foundation. It is located
in
Amsterdam,
Netherlands and registered
under Dutch law. 3iG was launched
as a distinct organization with its own Board on April 11th 2005.
3iG has a three-tier structure for managing and guiding
its development.
- The board of directors provides overall guidance and
strategic direction for 3iG. The board consists of representatives
of the
faith groups
which are members of 3iG.
- The advisory board consists primarily
of external experts and it will provide advice and counsel
in programmatic and strategic alliances.
- The professional staff,
headed by the secretary general, provides day-to-day operations
and support.
